And maybe there’s a joy in knowing it will never be complete. As with many things in life, decorating our home involves a bit of figuring it out as we go. But if we live more intentionally on the way, we can learn to purposefully experience the joy during each season.
In 2015, my wife, Stacie, and I opened Red Door Home Store with the hopes of sharing our passion for home decor with our hometown of Topeka, Kansas. We soon found a community that shared our passion and, building on that success, we opened a seasonal pop-up store at Town Center Plaza in Leawood, Kansas in 2019.
Now, we are excited to even further expand our business and open our doors to the online world. Our hopes in doing so is to connect with others who find joy in spaces that are personal, comforting and enriching.
No matter how you found your way to our space here at Red Door Home Store, we hope you are able to leave with a little bit of joy for yourself or to share with a friend. Because sometimes the littlest things can lift our spirits the most...
Our hope is you will find a wreath to hang on your front door that not only greets visitors with a warm welcome, but yourself as well.
We hope you’ll find a cutting board that will be shared over family meals and passed down through generations.
We hope you’ll find a cozy throw that keeps you warm on a cool night and brings you a little extra comfort as you end your day.
Thank you for joining us here at Red Door Home Store and for letting us be a part of those everyday moments.

"As I sit in my home on this bleary, cold day, I look around and in every room there are treasures that I found at the Red Door Home Store. They bring such warmth and character to my surroundings. Visitors to my home always ask where I 'found' these treasures."
